MELLI TASHI CHODARLING GONPA

Melli Tashi Chodarling Gonpa at Melli Dara is a Tamang Gonpa built-in 1906 by Lt. Kitab Singh Lama also known as Karma Rangdrol Lama. Later an earthquake damaged the Gonnpa and was renovated in 1959 but in due course, the structure became too dilapidated and was rebuilt in 1982 with Government aid, The Gonpa is still incomplete and need adequate fund to restore it. The Gonpa belongs to the Nyingmapa school of Tibetan Buddhism
